We have received reports that some residents have received telephone calls from someone claiming to be from Fair Community Housing Services or Fair Homes or the Council (Southwark Council). The caller initially wants to talk about damp or mould in your home. This may be the beginning of a phishing telephone call to trick someone into giving out personal information like bank account details and PIN numbers, so please be very careful. If you are unsure about the caller it is not impolite to just hang up.
Fair Community Housing Services will not call you after working hours and do not ask for bank details or take payments of any kind over the telephone, by email or in person.
